“Took my 6 year old to check out the strawberry festival. We had a great time! It wasn't too crowded and the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. I appreciate how many different things they had for the kiddos to do, they definitely won't be bored! We enjoyed our time so much I upgraded our day pass to a season pass. Would highly recommend!”

“My family and I did a one- night stay in the teepees and wagons-it was great! Clean and accessible accommodations, air conditioned, and clean bathrooms with showers.”

“It was our first family outing to the Orr Family Farm for the Strawberry Festival, and we were really excited to spend Mother’s Day together as a family. Unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing, especially for families with small children and babies. Since we had infants and young kids with us, we expected the event to be a lot more family-friendly. The bathrooms were extremely hot, and that was the only private area available for my daughter to breastfeed her baby. There was no mother’s station, nursing area, or even a proper place to change diapers, which was a huge disappointment for a place that promotes itself as a family farm. We also spent over $30 on the souvenir refill cups, only to find out the cups were very small (around 20 oz), and every refill station kept sending us somewhere else instead of actually refilling them. At $25 per person just to get in, we honestly expected much better service and accommodations. Especially from a place called “Orr Family Farm,” we expected a more welcoming and thoughtful experience for families. We still plan on trying the glamping experience in the future, and hopefully that visit will change our opinion of the place.”

“We stayed two nights, the polydome and Tipi. Pros: unique experience and cool atmosphere with petting zoo and train. Cons: polydome has BUGS and floods around the flooring whenever it rains! There was a spider hanging from the chandelier, big wood spider with legs exposed, ants and many rolly Polly's. If this stuff doesn't bother you, go for it, if not find somewhere else.”

“I recently visited Orr Family Farm with my three children, and unfortunately had a very negative experience at the carousel ride. While I was trying to help my child get properly buckled in, the ride operator repeatedly yelled at me to stand in a specific spot, which made it difficult to focus on my child’s safety. More concerning, the ride was started before I had finished securing my child. After the ride ended, the operator continued to behave in a way that felt rude and uncomfortable, including staring at our family and not communicating respectfully as we exited. Also prior to our family getting on he let others stay while for us after the ride was over he immediately stood and walked over to open the gate indicating for us to leave while he let others stay.I understand that staff need to enforce rules, but the situation could have been handled much more calmly and professionally—especially when young children are involved. Safety and clear, respectful communication should be the priority. I hope management addresses this, as it took away from what should have been a fun family outing. Maybe hire people who know how to behave appropriately around children and not ruin their visit!”

“Little nervous after we booked the 5 person teepee after reading the reviews. When we arrived they took us to our teepee and the air conditioning was running and the teepee was a pleasant 69 degrees inside. It was very clean inside and quite a large space. We checked it over and found no spiders or bugs like some described. They provide you with a swim time in their swim spa which was nice, but a little run down. Still nice for a quick dip to cool off from the summer heat. You also have your own private bathroom and shower very close to the teepees which they air condition as well. Shower and bathroom area was very clean and nice. They also provide you with a smores kit and free firewood and fire starting equipment. They open the farm just for camping guests and the kids had a blast. They did pedal cars and slides and the pillow pads and much more; all without crowds. They open it again in the morning for the kids to play on till check out. Was definitely an enjoyable experience for all.”
