Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Colorado.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Peach House! Their peaches are absolutely delicious—juicy, sweet, and truly the best taste of Colorado. But what really sets them apart is their AMAZING customer service. Kaila was incredible to work with. Even when there was an issue with the delivery dates (because I didn’t respond in time), she still ensured our parents in North Carolina would receive their peaches as soon as they returned from their anniversary trip. She was on top of every detail and went above and beyond to ensure everything worked perfectly so our parents could enjoy a little piece of Colorado from afar. Thank you, Peach House, for providing such high-quality peaches and for the care and dedication you put into your service. We will definitely be ordering again!”

“I ordered peaches delivered to my family in KY. The peaches were tart and never sweet and juicy. I emailed and they gave me an incident number but never responded. So I emailed again and still no response. That was over 3 weeks ago. I will never purchase peaches from them or recommend them to anyone. Terrible customer service! I received a very kind reply and apology. Took great care of me and my sister. Great customer service after they received my concerns!”

“Picked up some beautiful peaches before they closed up for the season to use for a pistachio peach tart. They were literally perfect and the woman at the stand even gave me some delicious apricots and apples to try! Excited to also come back and try their pears!”

“UPDATE: The owner reached out to me after I disputed the credit card charge and offered to send a replacement box. Unfortunately the new box of peaches were bruised also and the gift recipient wasn't able to enjoy them. I reached out to the owner to let her know and she responded quickly and offered to send another replacement box. We decided to pass, as we weren't hopeful that the next box would be better. Hopefully they are able to work out their product and customer service challenges for next season. Very disappointing complete lack of customer service. I have ordered boxes of peaches to ship as gifts the last few years and they have been great in the past, but things went completely downhill this year and I will not be ordering from them again. This year the peaches arrived bruised and were inedible. The gift recipient reached out to the company and they initially said they would send a replacement box. My friend didn't hear back so they tried to contact them again via chat, email, and phone with no response. I also sent a message through the website and have not received a response. I understand this is a small company, but businesses need to stand behind their products and have the infrastructure in place to support product issues and provide basic customer service. Sadly, this is the last time I will order from Peach Haus.”

“We spent $85 for a box of peaches that had been tumbled in a box for 3 days prior to arrival. A total of 3 halves were edible. We had been excited to finally have delicious Palisades peaches delivered to our home away from Western Colorado, and instead were super bummed. Update: After reading my reviews the Peach Haus sent a replacement box free of charge if I agreed to remove my post. The replacement box was also tumbled and the all of the peaches were bruised. Shipping peaches is a very fragile process and we were appreciative of the accommodations. However, the Peach Haus could absolutely improve the packaging to match others in the industry.”

“Don’t peaches from the store this week. They were the worst Palisade peaches I’ve ever tasted and I have tried to get a batch from farmers markets every year for several decades now and have never been disappointed before. Going to go by their stand tomorrow to try to see if they honor their replacement policy. Will keep you posted!”
