A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Michigan.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

What visitors say

“We simply searched on Google for a U-pick farm and Peach Ridge Farms popped up. We called and a friendly voice said that the raspberries are ready to pick and are good for picking! When we arrived, I felt like we were at my uncle’s house. We met Todd Quick, and he welcomed us and showed us where to pick, we learned so much about the his of his farm and what the farm has to offer for future visits. Now, we live in Chicago so it’s about a 3 hour drive, but I hope to be back soon to pick up more vegetables and the Peach Salsa that was delicious!!!👍😀”

“Todd is the most caring and honest farmer I've ever met!! He definitely cares about what goes out of his store. He gives with his heart because that's how he was raised. If your looking for a person that has great produce, eggs, honey and knick knacks. Todd has it with no chemicals or gmo's, all natural produced products. Grown old school like his father taught him.”

“Stopped by on our way home to Chicago and were amazed at the kindness of the gentlemen who helped us. We got peaches, blueberries, tomatoes, eggs all for a great price! They have raw honey, garlic, potatoes, onions and plenty of other goodies. Will definitely be back!”

“Stopped in for some gooseberry preserves. Unbelievable price for 16 oz. jars, and the tangy preserves didn't disappoint, glad I bought three. Got to watch some deer run out into the field behind the store, shot the breeze with Todd, I'll be back for sure.”

“CSA is a really great value for the price. A nice variety of fruits and vegetables too! Their canned coods are also great, the pineapple rum glaze is awesome! Todd is a really nice guy, good to talk to and always has interesting facts about the farm.”

“We do a corporate CSA with Todd and we are obsessed! We love getting fresh goodies each week, so tasty! He is great at communicating with us and always delivers reliably and on time. We especially love the peaches and blueberries. 10/10”

“Been a part of the co op program for 3 years now. Todd does a great job and can always get things you want if its not available while your there. Its local, which is always best!”

“It says on their website, “We love having visitors at the farm. We are passionate about passing on our knowledge of the land and produce to anyone who is interested. Please call us ahead of time if you would like a tour, or to talk about the farm.” I asked for a farm tour via a phone call, email and finally in person (because nothing was getting set up via phone or email). In person we were told the farm is 50 miles away and nobody can see it because plants for supplements/pharmaceuticals/the like are grown there, so no one is allowed there except for Todd. We asked if we could just see in the greenhouse by the farmhouse and he said nothing was in there. We had a decent amount of conversation with Todd and he told us so many bizarre things that didn’t make sense. We did (skeptically) try the CSA and picked up our first share in July. The share included sweet potatoes, which can’t be harvested that early in Michigan. The tomatoes were sprouting and the cucumbers tasted so disgusting we couldn’t even eat them.”
