“Third year ordering from this nursery, and I keep coming back because they offer exceptional value. I've purchased a variety of fruiting plants, from raspberries, figs, rhubarb, and more. The plants themselves are consistently good quality for the price—really outstanding deals compared to other places. Their shipping method is literally everything just bundled and tossed into a box, which felt pretty alarming compared to the careful packaging you see from most other nurseries. But at the end of the day, it works—everything arrives in good shape, I plant it right away, and it grows beautifully. After the first order, I stopped worrying about it because the results speak for themselves. Communication via email in 2023 was nonexistent, yet 2024 quick and easy for my issue with refund for one dead plant. Many other reviews appear to stem from misunderstandings about how online nurseries operate—plants ship when they're ready (usually in early spring), not according to your preferred schedule. This is standard to ensure they arrive healthy. Every order has had at least 1 issue (of 20+ plants), most everything has thrived in my garden. Still, to this date, I have never gotten an email back ^_^ :/ Oh well. Despite those drawbacks, the unbeatable prices and reliable results keep me returning year after year. Highly recommended for budget-conscious gardeners looking for fruit bushes and perennials!”

“This was one of the worst-looking plant orders I have ever received. The entire shipment was dumped into a single bag with zero root protection, no moisture wrap, no staking, and nothing to prevent damage during transit. Professional nurseries secure and protect roots carefully before shipping, but Pense Nursery, Inc. treated live plants like yard waste. The result was broken stems, bone-dry roots, and some plants were completely dead on arrival, while several others were so severely dried out that they are unlikely to recover. I live nearby, so the order arrived quickly — essentially overnight — which means this wasn’t normal transit shock; this was outright neglect. Yes, they offer a wide variety, which is why I ordered from them, but variety means nothing when the plants arrive dead or barely alive. Save your money and order from a reputable nursery instead.”

“Seems this is the best way to reach you based on other reviews. I understand you are busy and this is your busy year based off other responses and your website. We ordered a fairly large order with a specific delivery of 1/31/25. That way our fields would be ready in time. We received notification you have already shipped the large order. We have sent an email inquiring why they were shipped, with no response, this early as we are not prepared for this order as of yet. We asked for a refund in our email. We have received another notification that you have shipped another order that we are not ready for and do not want. We will be returning this to you as we have asked for a refund. Thank you”

“Hi, it’s my first time ordering from your website/business, everything seems pretty easy and not complicated but as soon as I was ready to pay it would not go through. Are they any issues with your website?? I also try calling and theirs a message saying that the phone number I have reached it’s no longer on service! I also tried your email and it also returned because apparently the email is incorrect. Any idea what’s going on with your website Thanx”

“They didn’t properly label my two varieties of asparagus crowns so they got mixed up during shipping. The jostaberry plants didn’t look great when they arrived and the strawberry crowns weren’t of good quality. I emailed them to let them know and they weren’t helpful or interested in adapting their shipping at all. I definitely wouldn’t order from them again as they can’t be bothered to do a good a job with the labeling and shipping process.”

“Ordered 2/3, no plants still on 5/21 after being promised they would ship weeks ago. Buyer beware.”
