A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.

  • Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.

  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We were looking for Pie Cherries, after doing some research we found that the only place to get them in the Willamette Valley to get them was Perryhill Farm. They are listed as being in Dallas however, the farm is just about a mile outside Perrydale. We took a short scenic drive from West Salem, upon arrival we found that "They have Everything". We just followed the signs that directed us to the Pie Cherry section, you can actually drive your car right up beside the trees! They say "No Ladders Needed" and they are right as the trees are short and full of Cherries. We picked about 35lbs. in an hour and headed to the checkout station. They have the Honor System for payment, you simply put your fruit on the scale to get your poundage, figure out how much you owe, and put your payment in the drop box. If you're looking for an enjoyable outing with your Family, load them up and go pick Fresh locally grown products set in a very peaceful setting!”

“We had such a great experience at Perryhill Farm! We picked peaches, cherries, and blueberries, then loved it so much we came back two days later for blackberries. Everything was easy to navigate with signs showing which rows were best for picking that day, and we loved that they keep their website updated with what’s available before you make the trip. Make sure to bring your own bucket or container for picking, and don’t leave without checking out the farm stand. The baked goods were delicious! Such a fun local u-pick spot and we’ll definitely be back.”

“honor system.. with camera of course! because there's some not so good ones out there bring your bucket.. weigh it empty, weigh it with your haul.. then pay and enjoy!! bring cash. didn't plan on buying this much!!! but the fruits are so beautiful and delish!! staff is super nice.price is awesome!!”

“This place is amazing! I picked blueberries and raspberries which are sweet, delicious and perfectly ripe. There was an abundance of fruit on the vines when I was there and I really enjoyed the experience of picking my own fruit. I will be back!”

“It was a pleasure to spend time with my children and gather some delightful fruits at this family farm.”
