“There's seriously no need for me to drive to Plant City anymore for strawberries. All my favorite farms are in nearby Dover. It's so great to have all of these options, because they all are unique. This farm is on Moore's Lake, which turns into Dover Road on your way back to SR60. It's very close to MLK. You'll see it right away. There's a dedicated parking area in front of the strawberry field. The barn houses a country store, play area for the kiddos, and a clean & bright outdoor seating area. The U-Pick area looked very organized. There were many families picking berries in the field. It was a lovely Friday morning! My main goal was to get a half flat of already picked strawberries, but I just had to stay for the strawberry shortcake. It was delicious! I appreciated the homemade shortcake and hand-dipped scoop of Yoder's vanilla ice cream. I'm so glad I had read other reviews about the Amish ice cream beforehand. It really made it special. They had so many different flavors including strawberry ice cream. I may do that combo next time. I also noticed that the strawberries are more affordable here compared to other farms. They have a smaller option of premium select strawberries in heart shaped containers for those who don't want to commit to the larger flats. It's definitely worth many more visits. It's a great location close to Brandon.”

“We stopped there for the first time today, April 25, 2026. The country store is charming, and prices on Amish made jams are very reasonable. Though past season for strawberry picking, they offer a blueberry shortcake that is slap yo' mama GOOD! No stale biscuits or fake shortbread here, oh no. You also get what appears to be a pint of fresh blueberries..and the whipped cream is to die for! They also have Amish made ice cream (scrumptious!) and sandwiches, too. There's a few cornhole games, and a coin operated rocking horse for a quarter. We will definitely be going back. The friendliest people, and the good food and atmosphere will be a family favorite for years to come.”

“My husband and I recently had the opportunity to go strawberry picking here and the strawberries did not disappoint! The strawberries are so red and juicy, and of course we tried a few in the field while we were picking (we had to make sure we liked the strawberries)! We finished our strawberry picking adventures with a strawberry shake and strawberry shortcake, and oh my God they were delicious too. I highly recommend this place...five stars for sure. Everybody was wonderful and kind and inviting! We can't wait to go back next week!”

“Great strawberry picking aside; Pigeon Cove offers a year-round family friendly pit-stop for a quick-bite or dessert. It's a great Saturday Road trip if you want to sit in the shade and enjoy some countryside sandwiches or ice cream. This place feels (and tastes) like authentic, old-school Florida. The owners have clearly put their heart into it.”

“Such a great spot for a little family outing! Strawberries are $3.50 a pound. So watch out cause it adds up fast. They have a great menu and of course Strawberry milkshakes and ice-cream. The cutest little shop with vintage items fairly priced and things like honey, salsa and jam. Its also a venue!!! Perfect spot for a smaller wedding or party!”
