“We stopped by this working farm after reading good reviews about them on Google. And it didn't disappoint at all. The ice cream was so good and wish I could go back for other flavors. I tried the coconut pineapple and espresso ore caramel. 2 scoops in a cup for $4.99. The texture is unlike those you buy from big brands. It is soft and creamy enough yet do not melt easily. They do sell the packed ice cream, milk, some cookies, nuts and chips, plus other small items inside the store. The cashier was pretty friendly and nice. Parking was easy and available right outside the store. Plenty of seating area to sit and enjoy the ice cream.”

“Great place to visit. It boasts a wonderful scenic drive with lots for the kids to see. The surrounding area is reminiscent of the early 60's farm life in Pennsylvania. The baby cows (calfs) are available to be petted as long as your gentle, and no fast movements. All I have said is amazing just in it's own, but I haven't even mentioned the Amish style ice cream and general store. I'm definitely going back with my little ones. Please be aware of your speed on the extremely windy country roads. This is a "take your time and enjoy the drive" kind of road trip for the whole family.”

“This is some of the best ice cream I have ever had. We originally just came here for the ice cream but we stayed for the cows. I have never seen an ice cream place that actually does homemade ice cream and shows you the dairy farm that they have where they milk the cows. They had wonderful calves that were very friendly and like to be pet. They also had their milking stations and other Cowpens open so you can at least view the inside which was really neat. Bear Ice Cream is a reasonable price and absolutely delicious. Couldn't say enough good things about here.”

“DELICIOUSLY REFRESHING homemade icecream. There's also a small store with a variety of baked good, milk, drinks ect. They milk the cows every day at 1pm. You can up close and personal with the cows. There's also Portapotty (very clean), multiple hand sanitizer pumps and a hand washing station available to wash hands. *(KEEP IN MIND this IS NOT a place to have your children run around this is a full functioning farm).”

“Terrific ice cream and other dairy products. The milk tastes as fresh as you can get ... I personally love their strawberry milk ... and the staff is always incredibly nice. They also carry a number of other items like beef sticks and baked goods to round out your trip. Parking is available and they have a nice little area outside to enjoy your treats before heading on.”

“What a fun stop with quite delicious ice cream! It's a working dairy - you can see the cows being milked right next to the ice cream order window. There are cute baby cows as well. Highly recommended stop if you are with kids. There's a little shop with local goods as well. But the highlight is definitely the ice cream. So fresh, creamy, and delicious. Worth a drive!”
