Pipe Creek Tree Farm & Pumpkin Patch

“We have been going to Pipe Creek for years. It's a family tradition! It's not fancy, but we always find a nice tree. Take some pictures with your family, enjoy the hay ride, and wander the grounds. Leave your hustle and bustle of city life at home. Relax. Some folks seem unhappy with the new tag system, " ... nothing good for sale ...", but we found ours right away. Instead of wandering around with the PVC measuring stick and avoiding the tall stumps left from folks cutting the trees off too high (trees were sold by the foot), you can just check the tag. You will see how tall it is and what the price is. The price comes out to just under $10 per foot, plus tax.”

“My kids loved this pumpkin patch. Although there weren’t a lot of pumpkins... they had fun on the train ride and the hay ride. They have a few animals to feed. They loved the sandbox and had so much fun playing in the huge pile of hay they have put for the kids to play on.”

“Love this place, it’s been a family tradition for my family since moving to the San Antonio area 10 Christmas’ ago and it will be next year. However, there tree measurements this year were VERY generously in their favor. This is a picture of my 8.5’ tree in my house with exactly 8’ ceilings with 3” of clearance. This is after cutting about as close to the ground as reasonable (2-3 in) and the top 12” is a stick. Being as generous as I can, it’s an 8’ tree at best and more reasonably 7.5’ considering the stick really needs to be trimmed down for a topper I know inflations hit hard but you got to raise the prices per foot and give the customer at least the benefit of the doubt on the tree size. No one wants to come home to find their tree 9” shorter than it said at the farm.”
