“I happened to be downtown today and stopped by the market at City Hall. All of the veggies were so fresh and looked good. I bought a fair amount of veggies considering that I was riding the bus back home. My only issue is with the paper bag. I understand the need to be friendly to the environment, but a plastic bag would have been so much better. As soon as I got on the bus the bottom of the bag fell out. There were tomatoes, beets, lettuce and onions on the floor of the bus at the door. That was too much embarrassment for $15.00.”

“There needs to be more urban farms. This is great initiative that teaches people how to grow their own urban farms and start a business. Just off the St. Thomas campus and across from the Rothko chapel, this voulteer garden is a great stop before lunch. All the produce is organic and costs around $3.”
