Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Pennsylvania.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Payment notes on file: Mastercard. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

“We visited Port Farms for our daughter's second birthday. They had the butterfly release event the same weekend and we had planned in advance. It was our first time visiting the farm and we had a blast! Our daughter loved running amuck and dancing to the music and bubble machine they had on. The event itself was really special to be a part of (even though our daughter was a bit scared of her butterfly lol). We can't wait to go again and make new wishes!”

“We’ve tried a bunch of pumpkin farms and nothing comes close to Port Farms. The amount of stuff for kids to do is unreal - they could stay busy all day. It’s one of those places that actually lives up to the hype. It is a great place to visit in the summer too when the wildflowers are In bloom. And it’s a really beautiful wedding venue too (my brother got married there). Total staple for us every fall. Always worth it.”

“Best. Day. Ever at Port Farms! My three kids and I spent 7 hours there today, and we had the most wonderful experience. Every employee was friendly and helpful. All of the attractions were clean and well-maintained. And there was so much to do! We arrived when they opened, and I had to pull my kids away at dinner time- they would have gladly stayed there until closing time. We can’t wait to go back!”

“There’s so much to do at Port Farms for all ages — whether you’re young, older, or have kids of any age. It’s even pet-friendly! We spent several hours there and still didn’t see everything. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of clean porta potties throughout the farm. This was our second visit, and we’ll definitely be back again. Such a fun and memorable family adventure!”

“This place was SO MUCH FUN! My husband and I had an absolute blast. Would definitely recommend giving yourself much more than five hours of roaming time around here. There was SO MUCH to do! The corn maze was spectacular, honestly the best experience I've had at a fall farm. We went on a Thursday and it was very nice not having to compete with large crowds.”

“Had so much fun today at Port farms with butterflies, blooms and bubbles. Our little girl had the best time. Definitely visiting again. Very well maintained property and so many activities for kids and adults. They also have good food options and the best fresh lemonade to beat the heat.”

“We made the trip from Pittsburgh to check out the festivities. Poverty Knob was adorable, and kid-friendly which is perfect for moms who want to enjoy a fun Christmas drink. The ladies there were so nice! The horse and carriage ride was fun and blankets were provided which was a really nice touch. The only negative is that they don't have Christmas ornaments with the farm name and year for sale in their store, they are only offered to those who purchase a Christmas tree there which doesn't work for out of town guests who want a family souvenir.”
