Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Our kids had a nice time here. The place is good for 2-7 yr olds. They have lots of activity booths, they have a petting zoo, reptile area, maze, bounce houses, the hay ride tractor ride is a good experience. They take you around the ranch and our driver was especially careful always checking us behind to see if we are ok. I suggest to get to this place early (they open 10am) as it gets full really quick on weekends. We got there 9:35am, there were about 3 families who were ahead of us. By 10:30 the line was long and parking was almost full. You have to make a reservation online. There was an ice cream and burger food truck on site but you could bring your own snacks just in case the kids get hungry. Bring water, bring a hat and wear sunscreen.”

“Cool experience and our first time visiting. Lots of pumpkins! We only wandered the pumpkin patch but there was another section with a petting zoo and rides, which we didn't go to. Traffic control on the street was super helpful and parking was no issue on a Saturday afternoon. 🎃”

“Great time here with my toddler. They've got everything from multiple bouncy castles and slides to cart rides and of course the pumpkin patch. My only complaint is that it's a bit expensive (one large pumpkin + child ticket + my ticket = $80). But I only took off one star because I don't know how that compares to other similar places. That being said, it's a heck of a lot less painful than driving over the hill to the pumpkin patch on the way to Santa Cruz!”

“It's ok, great for ages 2-7! Hayride is the best part! Great route! The actual pumpkins are good, they need a little more variety though. Petting zoo was sadly closed, but the haunted house was cool. The corn maze was fun, and obstacle course was ok too! Lastly, there was a Mr. Softee ice cream truck! Which was an amazing addition!”

“It was a decent pumpkin patch. They created couple of fun activities for kids: hay ride, Petting zoo, reptiles, bounce hut, ice cream truck. They don’t have great collection of different shapes of pumpkin. But good for few hours of fun activities.”
