In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Texas, not a guarantee for this exact farm.
Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Texas.
- Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“Its Christmas in July in Houston, 80 degrees, but this place is great, I have been here many times, staff is helpful, kind, I bought live Christmas Norfolk Island pine, to decorate my mantle.indoor plant that lives all year round.”
“A quick in and out, I knew what I wanted and it was at the front gate and was quick in and out.at the register. The cashier was courteous and polite and was able to scan the plant and get someone to load my purchase in my car, and protected the soil from being scattered all in my car. Thank you, PatsyAllgood”
“Best to have your coupons!!!”
“Carecen de muchas plantas, especial plantas pequeñas para el jardín, no tienen nada interesante, fui a buscar petunias, no tienen, pensamientos tampoco, perritos menos, la mayoría son para jardines grandes☹”
“Extortion level prices for Christmas trees. $99 for a 6ft tree. Go across the street to home depot for the same tree half price.”
