“I recently visited Rasch Cherry & Apple Market with my family. We were looking for some fresh cherries to make a pie, and we had heard good things about the market. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who gave us directions to the u-pick cherry orchard. The orchard was well-maintained and the cherries were ripe and delicious. We picked a few pounds of cherries and then headed back to the market. The market had a wide variety of products, including cherries, apples, jams, jellies, pies, cider, and more. We bought a few jars of cherry jam and a pie crust to make our pie. We also enjoyed some of the fresh bakery items, such as donuts and muffins. The donuts were especially good! Overall, we had a great experience at Rasch Cherry & Apple Market. The staff was friendly and helpful, the produce was fresh and delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We would definitely recommend this market to anyone looking for fresh, local produce. Here are some specific things I liked about my experience: The cherries were delicious and ripe. “Honestly looking at the few number of reviews for this place I was feeling hesitant to go. After calling them and finding out that they have sweet cherries we went there. We were thrilled with our experience at this farm. Very nice and big farm. They have sweet cherries, Rainer cherries, tart cherries, and dark red cherries. Their cherries were big, juicy and sweet. The price was very good and the farm is in good shape. They have people to help you get to correct trees. They even give you rides to a location in the farm using one of their golf carts. There are several ladders in each row and most of the ladders are aluminum so it is very easy for you to move them around and set them up. The people running the farm walk around and help you with setting up your ladders and finding trees with lots of cherries. I definitely recommend this farm to everyone.”

“I think the u-pick cherries is my favorite Michigan season, and this year was my 3rd year at Rasch's. The cherries are amazing! The prices are also so reasonable. Rasch is my go-to for apples in the fall as well. They do a great job of transporting you to your desired fruit type.”

“Our family has been picking cherries here for over 20 years. We stopped over to take homecoming pics. Tons of old buildings and many wonderful spots for pics even in October. Apple cider slushies and doughnuts were a plus.”

“I was disappointed with my recent purchase of already-picked cherries from this farm. The cherries were packed in plastic containers, and when I got home, I found quite a few that had already started to rot. The bigger issue was the taste. They were very poor quality and tasted nothing like fresh cherries picked directly from the trees. Since the picking season has just started, I was surprised that refrigerated cherries would be in this condition after only a few days. It made me question whether these cherries were actually fresh from the farm. Honestly, the cherries I’ve bought from regular grocery stores have been better tasting, fresher, and less expensive. I expected much better quality from a cherry farm, especially at the beginning of the season. I hope the farm looks into the quality of the already-picked cherries, because this was not what I expected.”
