Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“The property is smaller so it's pretty practical to leave the diaper bag in the car and just go back as necessary. They sell food and drinks including hot coffee, cold slushies, donuts, gelato. They also sell lots of knick-knacks, some local made goods, and some toys. They have a nice Large wooden play structure, slides with tubes, covered bounce house, animals (mini goats, donkeys, fluffy cow), irrigation slides, pumpkins, farm store, huge covered dried corn activity area with dump trucks, zip line, uncovered bounce pad, hay climbing structures. Tons of cutesy areas for photo ops. If you go on the weekend there's a large food area outside with covered seating but it wasnt open when we were there. They had a cute tractor ride with individual little seats that went through the corn field. Tons of yard games. Two things that could be improved. I really wish there was a hand wash station by the porta potties and that those were better maintained. There was one of the larger ones and it was pretty gross with no hand sanitizer left. There were signs saying the hand wash station was back up the hill a ways away which grossed me out a little. I also really wish there was a conveyor belt for the tube slide because a lot of kids couldn't drag them back up the hill. I was hauling them for my kid and strangers kids. The staff was incredibly helpful carrying them up the stairs though.”

“Stopped here to pick up some annuals for my garden. Their primary thing this time of year is beautiful hanging baskets in multiple sizes. The largest one, which is shown in the picture, is $110. They also have individual plants for sale, which are basically all the varieties left over that they use in the baskets. So, they don't have a large variety of plants like Al's Garden Center, but what they do have is in good condition. When I was there, the process started at $4.95 each for 4" annuals and $6.95 for the 6" ones. There's a couple other things such as grasses that they use, in larger pots - but I didn't look at the price on those. There's also a nice little store inside the building that has ice cream, some food options, and a variety of food and kitchen related items. They also had lotions and things. I didn't see everything, so there's probably more to check out. They have picnic tables outside, both under cover and in the open. There's also a play area for kids, but I'm not sure when that is open. In the fall, they also do a pumpkin patch with wagon rides and much more. Overall, it's a place definitely worth stopping by if you have time to kill, or want a beautiful hanging flower basket for yourself or as a gift.”

“The Red Berry Barn is our favorite place to shop for Hanging Flowers and Gluten-Free Pies. First off is their great location outside of town where the relaxed atmosphere contrasts greatly with the hustle & bustle of the city & HWY99W traffic where most motorists race to the next bottleneck. The large parking lot is well-planned and the store is well-lighted & organized for super-easy access to everything. They do something with their flowers that prepares them to stay fresh & brilliant from Spring to Autumn without a bunch of care. Customers will find an abundance of beautiful potted flowers where no two of the mixed flower pots are alike. The prices are reasonable. The absolute best Red Berry Barn attribute is the people running the barn; they all have that hard-working, personal, and friendly (non corporate) attitude that keeps us coming back. The Gluten Free Pies are simply amazing. The warming instructions on the pies make us laugh; advising to wait until the pie cools....🤣”

“I made a quick trip to the Red Berry Barn in Sherwood and picked up a chicken pot pie for a quick and easy dinner. It was wonderful. Lots of veggies and chicken the flavors were very good. I had a green salad and I also picked up a small cherry pie since it is just my husband and I this was a perfect dinner. Thanks for providing great options for those nights when I do not want to cook.”

“There are lots of flowers for sale this time of year. It is a little early for strawberries. There is ice cream, bakery, deli, pies jellies and much more. There are outdoor tables under cover and a great view too. There is a play area for kids to enjoy. Red Berry Barn will be even better when berry season starts!!!”

“Cute little place. Next time I will come in the morning so that I can try out their cafe. Strawberry’s were pretty overpriced in my opinion. I think $32 for the 2 berry baskets pictured is a bit much for U-pick. There wasn’t much instruction on where the field was located so I asked the lady at the counter where she informed us that we could not use our own basket. Would not have known other wise!”

“We bought an already cooked Triple Berry Pie this afternoon and tried it after dinner. Both of us were disappointed... the crust was thin and under cooked, the filling seemed to mostly be blueberries rather than an even amount of marionberries and raspberries, and the filling was a bit tart. In addition we think it's overpriced at $21.95! If it had been delicious we might be okay with the price, but we won't buy another one.”
