Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Louisiana.
- Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“My husband and I went here to pick blueberries. The farm is easy to find, and we were greeted by the owners after we parked. The owners explained the layout and best bushes, then left my husband and I to fill our (provided) buckets. There were plenty of bushes and we easily filled our buckets. Highly recommend if you're looking for fresh berries and getting off the beaten path.”

“My first blueberry picking experience and it was great! The farm was easy to find. I went opening day so I arrived at 7:50 for an 8 am start. I was able to get a close parking spot. They provide the picking bucket. I easily picked 5 gallons in less than an hour. I’d recommend arriving early. People who were arriving at 9:45-10:00 probably had fewer ripe berries to pick.”

“This is a wonderful place to go with family and friends to pick fresh, delicious berries. The blueberries go fast so it’s best to go toward the beginning of the season. Once you arrive, just grab a bucket and start picking! They also have horses, chickens and other critters about that are fun for the kids. We had a wonderful time and plan on making this a yearly tradition!”

“Great place to get out and pic your own fruits and vegetables. The blueberries are so sweet and the blackberries are coming along nicely. We were able to get some white and yellow squash along with some snap beans to go with the blueberries and blackberries. The farm is well kept and they have some livestock to visit.”

“Excellent small family run farm with horses, chickens, a goat and barn cats. Plenty of varied vegetables and berry selection. Proprietors are friendly, welcoming and helpful. This is a great place for families with young children to get a taste of nature, farm life and 100% organic farming.”

“Very nice people. This is a "pick it yourself" blueberry and blackberry farm. They also grow traditional farm vegetables such as corn, potatoes, figs, etc too! The price is less than you'd get from a grocery store, and this is all super fresh and organic. This place can't be beat!”

“I board my horse here, and it is one of the most beautiful, clean, and spacious facilities at a great price! The pastures are large and are always reseeded every season. There is also a riding area for barrels, jumps, or ground work, along with acres of well-kept trails!”
