Rittman Orchards

“Visited Rittman Orchards yesterday (7/11/26) and it was, in a word, DELIGHTFUL. The staff was friendly and helpful, the selection of apples and vegetables was nice without being overwhelming, and the whole thing couldn’t have been easier to navigate. I took a day trip from Indianapolis to visit the orchard after discovering them on FB. I picked up some delicious Melrose and Shizuka apples, as well as some fresh raspberries, peaches, and tomatoes. The baked goods called my name; I had to purchase a Dutch Apple Pie and Lemon Crumb Pie. All of the above have already been tasted by my family and are delicious! This is definitely a trip worth taking and I will definitely be coming back to do some berry and apple picking with the family. Thank you Rittman!”

“Love Rittman Orchard! Bring your little kiddos and the rest of the family, to pick berries in the summer. Currents and gooseberries are sold in the store. They sell high quality produce, fresh baked pies and cookies. Gifts from local artisans, soap's, honey made from the bees on the orchard. One of my favorites is apple butter made from their very own apples. One of the best things to do is enjoy ice cream after picking berries, sit on the porch, and enjoy the spectacular view. This is a great place to visit it's worth it!”

“Even though it was busy today being fall, everything seemed well managed. There’s not a lot of u-pick options, so be sure to check their Facebook for updates, but I didn’t mind. They still have lots of options in the market and I felt safe, considering their precautions. I also didn’t see anyone not wearing a mask that should have been. I think everyone is just happy to get out of their house and it shows. It was a great place to relax while being able to support a local business.”

“Loved this market, didn't know you can pick your own fruit. We missed the cherries. Definitely next time. We did pick sunflowers 🌻, gorgeous variety. 25.00 all you can fit in a vase. We bought apples, some homemade cookies and a variety of goodies. The apples were so fragrant and tasty! I would highly recommend the pristine apples. They have over 70 varieties of apples. 1/4 a peck for 5.00, can't beat it! Don't forget bent ladder is right next door.”

“Love this place! Great fresh produce. Cut your own fresh flowers in season. Bakery. And you have to check out the Bent Ladder Winery when you're visiting the orchard. Great garden area to kick back, relax, and take in the gorgeous view of the rolling hills while you enjoy some local wine or cider and a cheese and fruit plate.”

“Great place for a family to pick apples. They also have a retai store to buy their apples, pear, and othe fruit and vegetables. There is a bakery inside where you can pick up the best homemade pies.”

“Great place to get apples which are grown on site. They carry other products and baked goods. Enjoyable ride in the countryside.”

“Strawberries are very nice, we really like this variety. However, I suggest to take your own scale with you if you plan to pick your strawberries. Today's visit cost me about 2.5 extra pounds that we never took... Pretty upsetting! Also please note, if you don't need the buckets they provide, take your own to the field.”
