A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in South Carolina.
- Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“I love this place. I bought my home 5 years ago so I could be near you horses, land, nature. There is too much building on forestbrook road and nearby areas. I pray this farm stays where it is, as it gives me peace, tranquility and true love of nature as I drive by. Thank you so much. Please please never leave even in the face of all the construction. We need farms, horse and trees. God bless. -km”
“I LOVE ROCK SMITH FARM!!! I am having a wonderful experience. They have a vet and a farrier come to the barn. My horse gets a wide roam space to graze and is always fed. The stalls get pick everyday!!! They have an indoor/ outdoor area to ride. I also have friends that I love to talk to!! I recommend boarding at RS' farms!!!”
“Stellar facility full of friendly people and well cared for horses!”
“Great farm, animals are well taken care of!”
“Beautiful clean well-kept Stables”
“Not handicapped friendly”
