A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Jersey.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I visited this farm with my wife and daughter as a recommendation from a friend for something fun and friendly to do without being overwhelmed by a crowd. We had a fantastic time. The owner was sweet, polite and respectful. Our little one is only two so we do our best to maintain social distance through all this Covid madness. The farm I’d say is Goldie lox-esque as in not too big not too small just the right size. We found picking to be plentiful but didn’t have to walk a mile to get there. Given its size again we didn’t run into many other pickers and enjoyed plenty of space. The cherry on top was we picked two giant bags of blueberries and raspberries and our total was ELEVEN DOLLARS! 😅. Try to find a family friendly activity for under twenty bucks these days, it’s tough to do. We’ll definitely plan another trip back at least once a season :).”

“We loved this cute little home blueberry and raspberry farm! It is definitely a hidden gem. Maryann and Lewis were so sweet and explained to us what to pick and how to pick it. They give you buckets and produce bags. They don’t charge you a picking fee and you can sample what you pick. They were very patient with my high energy 2.5 year old son. The berries are delicious and way better than any of the bigger farms or what you would find in a grocery store. We will definitely be back for more!”

“My wife and I took our 2 small kids here on Saturday to pick some fresh ORGANIC blueberries, we were met by the owner Maryann when we arrived. She was so kind and welcoming! Our kids felt very comfortable with her! She showed us around her beautiful berry patch and went through every variety she had to ensure we got the perfect berries! We will be visiting her again for years to come! Highly recommend anybody stop by!!”

“The blueberry bushes are small and there's not much to pick as of last weekend. Raspberries are completely done for the season.”
