What you can pick
In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Arkansas, not a guarantee for this exact farm.
Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Arkansas.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Great price for ORGANIC blueberries! My blueberry bushes all got hit with late frost this year. We were so fortunate that this farm was one of less than 5 within an hours drive that had blueberries. And to top it off they were organic! Other than my own berries that is basically unheard of. Like anywhere else in Arkansas bring bug spray, wear long pants or boots and watch where you step. It’s the summer, there are bugs everywhere in this state. Other than that, pick early to avoid the heat. We got 2 gallons and were able to freeze most of it for blueberries this year. This has become a treasured family outing. Thank you Royal Berry Farm for all that you do and keep it up!”

“Absolutely enjoyed our experience Picking berries and listening to the birds sing While doing it. So peaceful And meditative for me and my husband. We love that it is an organic farm and no sprays are used. It’s worth every penny to know that there are no chemicals on or in our berries. ❤️ Signs have clear instructions. parking area and rows between the bushes was well mowed. We will continue to enjoy your beautiful farm!”

“We really enjoyed our blueberry picking morning this past week. There were loads of blueberries on the bushes. The berries are sweet, delish, organic - you can’t get any fresher! The location is out in the country - you can hear birds singing around you. Very pleasant experience 👍”

“Best family experience and the best berries! Our toddler has enjoyed helping us pick (and sampling a few during the picking😉) for the last 3 years since relocating to Hot Springs!! The grounds are always beautiful, well kept, with clear signage & easy self service!”

“Some of the best blueberries around!!! Lemon-berry cake and loaves for days!!! I love that they are organic but they don’t have the supermarket organic price tag. They are local and lovely! We love picking our own berries.”

“We found filthy bathroom commodes. The water had a smell from the kitchen sink. Beds were comfortable. We had to cross a grassy field to reach the house.”
