Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Maryland.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Took my 8yr old boy and his friend here on Saturday afternoon for the Pumpkin Patch experience. First time here. Purchased tickets on their website and saved close to $20. Staff was friendly. Lots of fun things for the kids to do. A giant pit filled with corn kernels. Lots of games and play areas scattered around the field. 3 different corn mazes. Small, medium and Large. Grabbed a wagon and walked out to the pumpkin patch. It's not a huge patch but we got there early in the season so there were still a lot of great pumpkins to pick from. They have a small collection of barnyard animals including a couple cute baby pigs. They offer burgers, hot dogs, snacks, and drinks. Overall a very nice time. Probably be back next year.”

“Very nice place to visit with a kid and reasonably priced. This farm has a nice artistic vibe with little things for kids to find here and there like little gnomes and fairies. It was a day at the farm when we could make our own magic wands and fairy garden in a jar, some fall coloring too. We had a great time.”

“Fun place! Variety of activities for kids to enjoy. It is obvious that the owners are working hard to ensure that there is enough to do. My 4 year old had a blast! Definitely recommend! This was our second year visiting and we will definitely be back.”

“Rude to children. Dont know the woman's name but I would suggest she take a class on how to talk to people's kids. A simple "please" and "thank you" goes a long way. I wouldn't recommend *Update Response to owner* My review has nothing to do with my child being disruptive. A good business owner would actually take the time to contact the customer and get facts to know what actually happened before responding. Kindness and respect is free. "Excuse me, this is supposed to stay in this section, can you take it back please?" as opposed to storming over to a child and being rude. If you all think the best way to ask someone( child or adult) to take a piece of equipment back to a certain place is by immediately being rude, when we had no idea it needed to stay in a certain area to begin with, then I Will Pray for you. Have a blessed day.”
