Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Texas.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This is mostly for kids, but it is great for them. Admission seemed on the high side ($22 per person weekend rate) and we paid to park at the Pearl next door ($11.30). But everything inside was included (other than bottles of water or chips if you wanted to buy those). So overall it was probably the not that different from going somewhere that charges for stuff inside, and it had a lot of value for our kids. It's a small space but somehow it still has a lot going on. Giant corn pit with a small tunnel slide that goes into it, giant pumpkin bouncy, little train pulled by a lawn mower, actual motorized carousel, self-propelled pig ride, a giant hamster wheel the kids run with their feet, and numerous little pretend structures for play and pictures. And sufficient seating for parents. My kids were so active the entire time that they ran out of energy after about 1.5 hours. But we all left happy. A good experience!”

“Amazing place for family fun and fall pictures. They have various areas for photo shoots and fun activities. My kids had loads of fun. Staff is very welcoming every one had a smile face and polite attitude. We made awesome memories here thanks.”

“Y’all should really check it out. Cool places to take pictures at, couldn’t find the rest. Definitely worth it (come by during the evening to enjoy the huge trampoline set up) They give free entrance to our kids (3 of age and below)”

“ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! So cute, and so perfect sized. Perfect photo op place and the staff are incredibly nice. Doesn’t smell and the pumpkins are so cute! Favorite part of the month so far. And only $15 for entry.”

“Great for a photo op. No wait. Think we paid maybe 30-40 on a Sunday. Pretty fun and lots of space to sit.”

“I usually rarely leave reviews like this but personally don’t think it’s worth the $15 , my friend and me only walked around for 15-20 minutes and got bored . Did we have fun taking cute pictures ? Yes . But I feel like it’s more for kids than teenagers and young adults . We ended up having more fun walking to The Pearl drinking coffee and looking at the market vendors walking around seeing the beautiful night life at the Pearl and talking for hours . It was cool to check out for the first time , but don’t think it’s worth the price in my opinion .”

“Such a lame pumpkin patch. The worst one I’ve been too in any state I’ve visited during this time of the year. Pumpkins thrown on piles of hay. A corn kernel pit for kids to roll around in, really? Painted pumpkins placed on wood planks to form small house for photo ops? It was tacky and lacked creativity. It felt like they just threw a bunch of pumpkins and fake flowers everywhere and put up a couple rides for kids. Flys everywhere from rotting pumpkins. A kids roller coaster that parents had to pedal themselves? So sad. Not worth the $15. Card only, fees added on top of the cost.”

“Come prepared that website say 15 person plus a service fee, at the gate it's 22 cash must have exact or vendor or cash app. Snack Bar same exact cash and card only....Be prepared for disappointment...long lines not that big you can see everything in 30 minutes...Pay for parking, pay for the event..we didn't find the value in the money spent”
