“A great place for people serious about fresh produce. I buy my weekly vegetables and meat here and literally bought a cart to hold the week's haul. Many of the farms that sell at the market are also located in the area. Highly recommend Jimenez Family Farm for their pies and pork-related items, and John Her's stand of fresh and diverse Asian vegetables. Both have really honest and down-to-earth folks working there- thanks so much! Unfortunately the market doesn't have much in the way of food trucks, but as I said... It's a market for produce fans!”

“This long running Farmers Market features fresh, local produce from area growers, ranchers, and fisheries. Residents and visitors mingle amongst the displays and stands whilst being entertained by the 'scene' and a variety of entertainers playing music, typing out poetry, and making balloon animals for the kids. Best produce around and there's great stuff throughout the year thanks to Santa Barbara fantastic climate!”

“We are very happy that we can find many Asian Vegetables and fresh herbs, sprouts here at the Farmer Market Place. We went to all 3 locations in SB county, but we like the one near Santa Barbara street better. More products! However, When the Orchids season start, we go to Goleta Location😀. We love buying SB wild flower honey too for my Allergy issue.”

“Love, love, love this farmers market! Did I mention I love it? I've been to lots of markets across California and AZ, Santa Barbara is among the best. It's mostly (maybe all) just good, fresh, organic food, not arts and crafts and junk that you see at other markets.”

“Great place to find farm fresh food. The vendors are always ready with a bag. The market offers home made bake goods, nuts, flowers, many seasonal vegetables, meats, potted plants, teas, candles, oils, milk, herbs, Fruits with many offering a taste. There are a few musicians, and a balloon man who excepts donations. There is a small free parking lot next to the market that is often full. We usually find a spot on the streets around good for 90 minuets. No bathroom facilities .”
