“What a delight! We came here as Harvest Host guests & left life long alpaca lovers! Glenn is extremely knowledgeable and so informative about all things alpaca. Both he & his wife Carolyn are the most caring and genuine people you will ever meet. They care so much for their alpacas and it really shows when you spend a half a second with them & the grounds where the alpacas live. Their gift shop is amazing! I wanted everything in there. So many unique gifts, though my daughter got the biggest haul from the gift shop. Aside from managing the farm they also do a lot of alpaca education for kiddos. Which speaks to their true love of the animals they have. All and all, a must see & definitely get some amazing gifts in the gift shop!”

“Wonderful alpaca ranch to stay at. Out of the way outside the city of Fallon. Beautiful and peaceful area with night sky views and views of the mountains. Two great parking spaces for Harvest Host RV visitors and a small store with lots of alpaca items for sale. Very nice hosts giving a full tour and explanation of the operations of the farm. Details of the animals they have and very interesting information about the breeding and sheering processes. They have power if you want as well. We were lucky enough to get to see the Aurora Borealis as well the night were were here, as it was seen all over the country that night. Great place to stay....highly recommend it.”

“This is our second time staying at the Sawdust Alpaca Farm through Harvest Host. I highly recommend staying here. Glenn and Carolyn are so warm and welcoming. It was amazing to spend time with such beautiful animals. An unbelievable, up-close, and personal interaction. The gift shop has so many unique gifts. I purchased a beautiful pink sweater, and my husband purchased some socks. I have never had such an experience with these amazing animals and their caring owners. Thank you, Glenn and Carolyn for everything! So excited to have been here two years back to back.”

“We had the BEST little afternoon here at the alpaca farm! The owners were so sweet and my daughter had a blast seeing the alpacas! They were a little reluctant to getting pet, however the owner caught a little white one for my daughter to touch. She loved watching them run around! They were kind enough to show how their farm works, and even showed us their little shop so we got some cute handmade things♥️ They are open every day, I highly suggest taking an afternoon and enjoy this little farm. Next weekend is the Alpaca farm days ! Go check them out Friday 10-4 !”

“This destination is a must visit especially for animal lovers. What an education owner Glenn gave us He spent a lot of time with us sharing his passion and shared his beautiful alpacas. We purchased a lovely stuffed animal from his bride and like Glenn she was a delight and I loved the beautiful things she made in the gift shop. They have more trophies than you can imagine and the best part...they love those animals and guard dog (lol) Abby. She does guard her friends the alpacas though. Just be prepared to pet her a lot.”

“5 star + We throughly enjoyed our stay there. Glenn and Carolyn were a joy to be around. We loved Abbey the Guard dog as well. She is a gentle giant.I learned so many things about the alpacas that I did not know. The farm is spotless and the alpacas are beautiful. We had just missed the birth of the latest cria by one day. This place is a must see if you are in the area.”

“We really enjoyed our visit at Sawdust Alpacas! Glenn & Carolyn was very informative about everything about Alpacas! And the gift shop is a must stop! I never saw a pack of Alpacas so close with different colors, thanks for the hospitality Glenn and Carolyn! We will come back for sure!”
