Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Maine.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Stunningly beautiful farm and wonderful owners. Met Marcia and Don at the Friday Farmer's Market in Wiscasset. We purchased their jams, lettuce mix with edible flowers, and radishes. That lettuce mix made for the best salad along with the radishes that I have had in years. We had the wild blueberry lavender jam this morning on toast, and it was spectacular. Thank you, Marcia and Don, for all that you do for the public and farming community!”

“Very good food and crafts Maine made all the way! Make sure you get here by Narrow gauge train via The Wiscasset Waterville and Farmington Railway Museum, this will make your visit unforgettable!”

“Love their lavender spray and Marci’s Family’s maple syrup that is made with their lavender”

“Great place and people! Take a trip and visit this nice farm.”

“We’ve been here a few times over past years and enjoy the trips. Adding a few markers to get a scavenger hunt going and extend the experience over and into other areas would be nice. We take the train and love the collaboration between the two 😍”

“We visited as part of the Wiscasset pumpkin train trip. Nice place. Friendly folks. Would be nice to have more food truck options. We bought pumpkins, whoopie pies, & cider.”

“It was lovely day with lots of great food and company.”

“Underwhelmed. I like lavendar as much as the next gal, but this place was pretty boring. And, the charged $5 to park. I didn't take the train ride to the farm. I'm thinking that would have been the only fun part of the experience .”
