What visitors say

212 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“A calm and welcoming place to learn about a wide range of topics, including sheep, plants, farm machinery, and more. Visit the silo museum, take a tour, enroll in a class, and purchase goods from the store. You can spend time in the Bible Garden and other areas of the property by bringing a picnic or picking up some delectable treats from the store. The museum featured demonstrations of felting, knitting, yarn spinning, and sheep shearing, as well as kid-friendly games and activities. Additionally, there are goats, sheep, alpacas, and donkeys to pet. This place hosts a nativity during Christmas, as well as fall hay rides and other activities.”

“Definitely a must! Best pumpkin patch, plus soo much more. A hidden treasure. Blessed to have found a place, and people like this! Also, don't forget your child's old tot clothes! They stuffed them, how festive! :) I recommend this place and give them 10 stars! There are so many things, (games, food, pumpkins, tractor rides, livestock, sheep dogs, huge balls of wool you can make chunky blankets from, classes, teachings, ect.) Here are a couple of pics, you all must truly see for yourselves!”

“We had so much fun in our homeschool field trip to Shepard's cross. We loved hearing their story and participating in the many activities. They only thing I wish was that they had an actual person describing everything instead of recordings. They always had someone there to answer questions though. I HIGHLY recommend this place! Lots to learn and lots of fun!”

“Shepherd’s Cross is a really nice little farm with a peaceful, welcoming vibe. The shop inside the barn is charming and has some great items to check out. One of the best parts is the area set up for kids to play with toys, which makes it a great stop if you have little ones. It’s simple, relaxing, and definitely worth a visit.”

“Wonderful experience here at Shepherd’s Cross. We loved it. The store, the games, the maze, the sheep petting area, and the memories are amazing. Our children didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!”

“Shepherd's cross is a great place very informative educational they have sheep make their own wool into thread yarn and was able to learn a lot there family Christian friendly I highly recommend it you can just stay there all day.”

“I love to take my family here for the fall festivities! Lots of different pumpkins to choose from, animals to see and pet, games to play, hayride, and so much to see!”
