Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in South Carolina.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Delicious super delicious strawberries!!! They literally melt in your mouth! We’ve been to other u-pick strawberry fields, but at Shuler they have been the sweetest, you know when you go to the grocery store and they are so tart and tasteless not here. Definable make the trip out here and you’ll love them. Kiddos enjoy eating some here and there (adults too) and you’ll enjoy your day doing something different out in the fresh air with family! Price is good and so is the picking!!”

“First time visiting. Beautiful displays in the store area. Very clean. Everyone was so helpful and pleasent. I loved the peach trees. They have a golf cart if you need a ride to and from the farmland. The young lady asked what type of peaches we wanted to pick and showed us which area to pick from. Very fun experience. I recommend. And the black berries they had already picked for sale were the biggest most beautiful I've ever seen.”

“A beautiful and serene farm tucked away in the forest. perfect for a fruit-picking adventure! The prices were very reasonable compared to other you-pick farms, and the fruit was incredibly flavorful. They offered a great variety, including peaches, plums, and berries. It’s also a fantastic place for kids to explore and enjoy nature. Overall, a wonderful experience I’d highly recommend.”

“Very kind people and my daughter loves going straw straw picking and watching the big trucks going by on rt78. She tends to take one bite out of each strawberry then throw it on the ground. And while I feel awful wasting them, the owner just smiles and wont let me pay for all the half eaten ones left in his field. We love strawberry season especially, but peach season too!”

“Best plums I’ve ever tasted. They also have U-pick peaches, blackberries and nectarines. You can also purchase these fruits already picked, as well as squash, cantaloupe, cucumbers and a host of other fruit/veggies. Extremely fresh. They also have u-pick strawberries a little down the street. Amazing outdoor experience. Heading thr to pick more this morning.”

“Great strawberries, big and pretty. Best I have picked in past couple years. You just pay 18 I believe for a nice size basket and you can walk out and pick from any row. They also have them already picked your choice. Very satisfied with this field, first time ever going and will definitely go back .”

“The best tasting strawberries I've ever had! I love everything I've ever bought there. Worth the drive! I live an hour away from them and I make it a point to go at least every other week once the strawberries are ready. My top choice for buying fruit for strawberry pie and peach cake.”

“It was our families first time strawberry picking & this farm did not disappoint! 🍓✨🌿 We went to the location in Ridgeville @ 118 Meyers Mayo Rd hwy 78.”
