What visitors say

“Skinner Produce has the best fresh fruit! It’s a great family business with the best customer service! The Bountiful stand has been here for 32 years. If you want the best peaches, apples & watermelon then visit Skinner Produce! Also get your Halloween pumpkins!”

“They have local veggies, fruits, honey, jam & salsa. Today, I bought two vine ripened tomatoes. They will make a delicious tomato and mayo sandwich! Not to mention, they have the rare Crenshaw melon, which happens to be the tastiest melon!”

“Stand locations are readily available while a permanent location is in Bountiful. The produce was fantastic. Fresh, crisp and priced just right. The workers even carried my items to my car for me. Will be back yearly!”

“My family has bought produce from here several times and I am always impressed by how good it is! I feel so lucky to have a local produce stand in Bountiful. Thank you!”

“This is an absolutely fantastic place to buy fruit! The staff is always helpful and friendly and the selection is always top-notch. Highly recommended!”

“Broad selection of local produce and a friendly, knowledge staff. I shop there often during the summer and have always had a great experience.”

“Absolutely the best fresh fruits and veggies. Always wonderful courteous staff.”

“This was the first time I have ever shopped at your produce stand. I came to buy corn which we cooked that night and was good. You had a sign that stated you were having a special on raspberries that day. I tasted one at checkout while I was buying the corn, and actually drove back to buy a case about an hour later. Maybe the ones in the basket had been sorted or stored differently? I put them directly in my fridge and within 3 days they were completely covered in mold. I couldn't even sort through them to pick out any to save. I guess I should have assumed they were old, which was why you had them on special, but when I asked about why they were on sale, I was told it was simply because you had purchased too many. If they had instead warned me that they were close to going bad, I would either have only bought one basket instead of a case or have known I needed to make jam or freeze them that night. Your lack of honesty caused me to lose the entire case. Three days is a very short time for raspberries from a stand, that are supposed to be fresh, to go bad.”
