“Update: I went back for their closing day of the season and the folks were really nice. Must’ve been an off-day on my first visit. I truly enjoy shopping local and look forward to when they open again in 2025! Original: I like supporting local so I decided to visit Smith Farms. I chatted with a young girl, who wasn’t the friendliest, about the produce carried, etc. She let me know what was grown at their farm and what was from other local farms. I purchased a head of cauliflower, which was grown at SF, and a Rocky Ford watermelon. Although I won’t be able to get the bulk of my produce there—it’s a starting point regarding not having produce that’s imported. I’m rating four stars instead of five for customer service as I believe that’s part of the experience.”

“Nice and very friendly staff. This place is a rare find. You want fresh fruit and fresh vegetables locally grown right here in Colorado this is your place. Lots of extra things to shop for as well. Hatch tortillas, fresh fire roasted peppers, local packaged salad dressing, local soda, ect. Great selection of many different things. Great looking vegetables and fruit. Check this place out.”

“I came to Smith Farms looking for okra, but found so much more! Several varieties of watermelon and cantaloupe, and a multitude of mouth watering fruits and vegetables. The customer service was impeccable! They took their time to talk with me and even showed me the best to choose ripe melons. I had a wonderful experience and will return again. They will be open until October!”

“Had a great experience her last year, food was delicous and the staff helped up know when the melons would be ripe. They are open seasonally from July 1st to October 31st. I love that last year they were open until 7 pm because most farmer's markets close pretty early”

“Great market!! A friend put us on to it and they have lots of wonderful fresh produce, and some delightful salsas, dips, dressings, and queso. They also had some pastas and breads! Will return”
