Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Mexico.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I was visiting Clovis from England, to see my grandchildren (7 & 4 years) and this was a fantastic choice for an entertaining afternoon. The kids thought it was awesome. Staff were welcoming and kind. Many Inventive and fun attractions. Some adults might nitpick, but it's best viewed through child's eyes. Thank you St Bernard farms.”

“We had such an amazing time!! We are a family of 3 ages 19-39 and we all did the bumper cars, corn maze, haunted house, and the huge slide and LOVED IT ALL!! We didn't get to try any food because we had eaten before. Would definitely recommend taking your family lots of fun for all ages.”

“The place was not too packed with people. It had everything for kids and grown ups. The prices were just right not to expensive. The variety of food was great. But most of all the workers were very very nice and helpful.”

“Excellent affordable family fun! Only 2 downsides would be: I was sad the pumpkin patch was closed & Funnel cakes are $9.”

“Imagine the most ghetto carnival you’ve ever seen—now slap the words “Pumpkin Patch” on it. That’s what we walked into. Admission was $10 per person, which felt like highway robbery, especially since the website listed it as $12. The website also listed so many fun *OPEN* attractions! Disclaimer: they were not open so heads up: whatever you see online probably isn’t accurate. After paying to get in, we were hit with yet another charge: $1 per token. The woman at the front desk pushed us to buy 20 tokens, claiming it might not be enough, (she probably gets a commission off tokens) yet conveniently forgot to mention that nearly every ride was either understaffed or completely shut down. We ended up handing the tokens to the kids just so they could bounce around on a giant, impractical trampoline for 20 minutes. That was the highlight of our visit. And the actual pumpkin patch? Closed. The main attraction wasn’t even available. Bottom line: save your money and your expectations. This place isn’t worth the drive, the cost, or the disappointment.”
