What you can pick

In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Nevada, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Nevada.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Beautiful clean facility, kind and caring pet professionals. Provides all breeds dog and cat grooming the best in Douglas County. Rescues all types of animals not just dogs and cats. Strawberry Fields also sells wonderful eggs from all rescued chickens. Love this place.”

“They do such a wonderful job with grooming my Pug. I'm very pleased and have appointments booked through this whole year!. The rescue facility is extremely clean, the animals look well taken care of, it is such a blessing for them to take these animals.💞💞💞”

“I was thrilled to find a local groomer. Gina and my fur baby had a spa day and it went great. My fur baby came back to me like a brand new dog. Highly recommend Gina for your fur babies needs!!!”

“Love these women! We adopted our dog from them a few years ago and still come out for visits. They also groom our handsome boy and always do an amazing job!”

“Have my dog groomed there monthly. Excellent, Quality service at reasonable rates.”

“I couldn't be happier with the care and detail Strawberry fields gives to my Dog!”

“Very nice people. The grooming was very nice. I have a 12 pound Pomeranian and a 14 yr. old toy poodle. Best scissoring She's had probably”

“I'm sure the owner is a good groomer but she is not a nice person. She needed some fence repairs done a few years back. A good friend of mine did the work. She provided all the materials for the job and they were installed as per her instruction. When the job was completed she refused to pay for any of the labor because she was unhappy with how her provided materials looked. My friend the handyman did offer to try to make it look better but was refused. I hope she doesn't rip of her clients like she did with the handyman!”
