Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Colorado.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Payment notes on file: American Express, Discover, Mastercard, VISA. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

“Sold here three times and am always grateful when any of my items I sell get picked out! The store has a cute theme too and is in a great area. I wish everyone who works here well; I can tell that the owner cares a lot about their customers and employees. There was this one employee at the register, I can’t remember their name, but it was my second time selling (may 10th) and they were so nice to talk to and they gave me a strawberry candy. I forgot their name but I hope that person knows that they have such a bright aura and their presence alone is enough to brighten the space (I get these feelings ever since I started witchcraft, I’m sorry if that’s a weird thing to say)! Thank you for doing business with me, always a pleasure! Best, Ena 🫶”

“If you love thrifting in Denver this is a place you must check out!! One of my top three favorite thrift stores and my partner and I had the pleasure to receive assistance from Leo (Leo was awesome). Strawberry Mountain is a place where you can always find something you just love. They have a wide range of sizes and styles and you can tell they prioritize seasonal pieces which I appreciate! You can buy, sell, and trade which is a plus. You do have to set up an appointment to sell your clothes.”

“Timing is everything when it comes to shopping at thrift stores and mine was right on the dot. Found this place on google maps and will be back when I’m in Denver again! Beautifully curated, edgy, stylish, and great quality! Prices are very affordable! Friendly staff. Excellent location for a day out around town solo or with girlfriends.”

“I was curious to see the kind of vintage clothing they would be offering and it was not my kind of thing but the place was packed and several in line at the register so obviously others disagree. I find their accessories pretty interesting.”

“I brought clothes 3 times to sell and I was only able to sell like 2 items. They only buy hippie clothing which is ok but I wish they just mention that on their website and not waste my time. I really tried to like this place that’s why I went three times but after this week I’m done with this place. Plato’s closet much much better and they would buy way more items.”
