“Strawflower Farm in Litchfield, CT is a gem. They are a small family operated farm focused purely on regenerative practices. Their produce is glorious. Besides the usual giant heads of lettuces, beautiful bunches of Kale, robust zucchini, potatoes & peas etc., they enjoy growing some unusual items such as purple cauliflower and atypical varieties of tomatoes and green beans. Their garlic bulbs are huge, and the overall quality of their produce is unsurpassed. They have one of the more delicious honey's i've ever had, as it has what I think is a slight essence of lemon flavor to it. Oh, and the eggs....just beautiful and so well priced. They have also started selling small gorgeous bouquets of flowers as well as adorable beeswax candles, handmade by another family member. Wonderful farm stand, a must see & buy.”
