“My husband and I went berry picking on Sunday. We specifically went to Stroik's because of the "Hot Sale" buy one flat 10# or more and get the second 1/2 off. When it came time to check out the first thing my husband did was say "Hi, I want to make sure we get the "Hot Sale." I was standing right there, I heard and saw everything. I know the employees heard him because, after responding "okay" to him, one employee specifically said something to the other about evening out the flats (to make sure one was at least 10#). We watched them do this. We got home and discovered they did NOT give us the discount. Driving back wasnt an option as the gas would be more than the discount. My husband commented on one of the recent Facebook posts about the sale mentioning that we weren't given the discount. He did so politely, in hopes other customers wouldn't have the same unfortunate experience. Shortly after, he started receiving nasty, aggressive messages from Stroiks! I would not have posted a negative review but, now I feel its important to warn people about the nasty way this business treats its customers.They could have just apologized for the mistake rather than attacking and accusing my husband of lying. We have now discovered a number of other people who were not given their discounts either. But, Stroik's says they KNOW they didnt make any mistakes. It was pretty busy, but apparently they are perfect and customers are lieing? There are other places to pick berries! Please consider going anywhere else, businesses who treat customers this way should not be rewarded with more business.”

“Good berries but the staff were rude. Field attendant screamed at peoples children from across the field and yelled at people for picking a berry not in their row. Also, heard multiple staff in the shack complaining about how glad they are it’s their last year doing it. I’d rather get berries at Walmart.”
