What you can pick

In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for New York, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New York.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

37 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“When making that move off the L.I.E. (Edwards Avenue) up to Sound Avenue, you will be heading towards this farm stand. Keep your eyes open cause it's on the right side of the road. It would well be worth your time to stop and visit. The hospitality accorded to the customers is exemplary. Anna was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. Our time spent walking around and purchasing our needed products was made very easy by her. So, in short, stop and shop. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲”

“Everything here is fresh, local, and thoughtfully grown. The fruits and vegetables are incredibly flavorful—you can really taste the difference compared to store-bought produce. The selection changes with the seasons, which makes every visit feel special. I could spend all day in the greenhouse. The hanging baskets are breathtaking and they have such a great selection of annuals and tropicals. I will definitely be coming here through the season!”

“Went to pick berries with my little ones in June - had a great time. The quality of the berries were excellent and there was no pushy sales people. They even put out a picnic table for my family to enjoy lunch. There is lots to see and do in the neighborhood but the berry picking was the highlight of our weekend. Will definitely return. Definitely penguin parent friendly”

“THE ABSOLUTE BEST FOR STRAWBERRY PICKING!!!!!! I came back again this year with friends and was not disappointed. The fields were filled with ripe juicy berries which made delicious jam. Gorgeous flowers and farm stand staples. If you’re looking for a place to go strawberry picking this is it.”

“As a local this is my only stop for flowers in the spring, veggies all season, and mums in the fall! Best prices around! And you can't beat the friendly inviting atmosphere! Let's get this season rolling!!”

“Amazing farmstand run by an outstanding family! I get all my corn, tomatoes, peaches, zookini, and Q-cumbers here! And I live 60 miles away and came here twice this week!”

“Stopped on the way past to pickup cucumbers and tomato. Also picked up honey and asparagus while I was there $38”

“They didn't have a big selection. When I asked the woman, the price of the carrots and celery, she was rude and answered the prices on the door so I walked back to check and to my surprise, there was no price on the door so I made sure to go back and tell her that there was no price. Rudeness is the experience I got my first time there. Needless to say, I won't be going back.”
