Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Texas.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say
13 reviews on file · showing 7 visitor notes from the listing data.
“It was easy to find with google maps. Beautiful trees and a plentiful crop. Rows were well marked. Told us which rows were shaken that day so we ( 2 adults and a 9 year old), picked a 5 gallon bucket in less than an hour. Owners very nice and helpful. Pecans were delicious!”
“It really was cool experience picking up fresh pecans. My kids really had fun! Looking forward to visit again this year. Hopefully I don't miss it since opening window is very short!”
“Only open certain times, best to call ahead because pecans don't make every year, and they don't open if it's been raining.”
“Great small business, wonderful big pecans!!”
“Wrong place.. the Orchard in Terrell. Was not the correct location 😕”
“website hasn’t been updated since 2017. Called and the voicemail was recorded in 2020. This place needs to be taken off the web”
“Private Property Gate. No signs of a business.”
