“Our family looks forward to visiting Swanson's every year for the most delicious, fresh, local apples for eating and canning! This year we took our two young grandsons with us and the owners gave them a tour of the processing area, great educational opportunity for the boys who loved every moment of it! They gave us all sample apples, which we ate outside in their lovely picnic area while the boys talked about what they learned and enjoyed the view of the orchard and surrounding mountains. As small business owners, it always feels good to support other local businesses, especially when they are so friendly, generous and welcoming. “I called to make sure their facility was appropriate for my daughter who uses a wheelchair. The nice woman offered to stay open if we called, because medical appointments were scheduled to end close to the orchard closing time. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and invited to return at a time when my daughter could explore the facility. Plus, the Macintosh apples and cider are delicious.”
