“Everything on line says its open but the gate says closed and it’s locked at 10am. UPDATE: Today the website says it's closed for the 2024 season, and it says it the page was updated on September 5, but I have a screenshot taken this month (October) that ways "We are open for the 2024 season!" They also show several apple varieties available in October, and one even in November. So - before you head out (next season) have a back-up plan for other things to do because they do not update the website quickly and will back date the updates. I'm sure it's a small group of students or volunteers running it - but it is helpful to supporters to keep website info up to date. A nice extra would be to post something like "we expect to close for the season around October 15" to help people who are planning a trip from out of the immediate area. Last update: The staff have told me there's a newsletter you can sign up for that lets you know when it's open and closed, but I don't want to sign up for newsletters for every fun seasonal activity I may ever do. Updating the website and providing an estimated closing date will save patrons from wasting time traveling out.”
