Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Idaho.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“It was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect and it was so much fun! We paid $10/adult. The wheat box was great! The tires were fun! The kids loved running through the small hay maze! Then we did the corn maze and wow! It took us 1 hour with three kids but we had a great time!! The clues made it more enjoyable and we even saw a kitty that followed us a bit and the kids loved it!! It was so nice they had emergency exits just in case but we were determined to finish and did!! The tractor ride was fun and getting there were so many pumpkins! We spent $50 on pumpkins which I think was a bit pricey but they were big pumpkins and we got some small ones. There are also food options and if you need, porta potties. The staff were nice and friendly and we had a good time!! We will be back next year!”

“It has become our tradition to come here every fall to pick our pumpkins from their amazing pumpkin patch! They also have the BEST corn maze I’ve ever been to, and a fun hay bale maze for those looking for less of a challenge. Fun play area for kids as well!”

“Awesome! So much fun! This gets better every year. Thousands of pumpkins, so many different varieties. The corn maze is just the right difficulty with plenty of "emergency exits" if you don't want to do the whole thing. We love Swore farms!”

“We had a blast tonight! I am amazed by this whole operation. I know a lot of love and sweat must go into the farm and it's such a special experience in the fall time for families like mine to visit.”

“Not the best picture but they had a great selection of pumpkins, the hay ride was perfect time-wise for us. Everyone there was super friendly, prices were fair. I will definately go back.”

“Amazing example of sustainable farming. A family venture doing some great community based agriculture. We spent a very enjoyable afternoon there, enjoyed their hospitality.”

“The maze was great and very informative. Great game. The pumkins were abundant and beautiful. The host is very accommodating. Love it.”
