A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Missouri.

  • Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

“My friend invited me for my first strawberry picking and we had a great time! The $5 a pound is a great deal and they have a beautifully kept strawberry patch. They also have a good size green house at the back with quite a variety of plants and flowers that are beautiful additions to any garden. Appreciate Peyton and Devon for chatting with us and answering all our questions. Also they make the absolute best strawberry ice cream ever!! Do not miss out on this awesome place!!”

“Loved visiting this place! The staff was so nice and I believe even the owners were out and about Saturday morning talking to everyone that came to pick strawberries. The strawberries were so good! They also have a greenhouse with gorgeous flowers! They had a pretty big variety of flowers and vegetable and fruit starts. Will definitely be coming back!”

“Very friendly & clean cut strawberry patch! Professional manicured & easy to pick, however, strawberries are not that easy for me to pick now days! I’ve picked my own strawberries for many years & most patches are not as clean as Tasty Acres. I highly recommend them!”

“We had fun picking strawberries here! They have so much more to choose from, too! Candles, jams, jellies, bread, cinnamon rolls, shirts, ice cream, veggies will be in the greenhouse, ready soon! Everyone was so nice! We'll definitely be back, soon!”

“They have the best Strawberry ice cream, Amish Honey, Tomato plants, and a lot more. Its a really nice welcoming family owned place that allows you to pick Strawberries, and garden Vegetables that are in season”

“What a cool find! Amazing twisty cone ice cream with strawberries from their very own farm!!!! Yes please and thank you. Also a cool produce market with Amish Grown fruits and veggies 🥕 Come check them out 💫”

“Delicious strawberries probably the best around! They’re a good size too. Will be back! 🍓🍓”

“I went here with my kids a week ago and it was a great experience! The strawberries were amazing and everything is very kid friendly. My only complaint is the strawberry iceream. I bought some for my kids after picking and it was way too sweet and tasted strongly of strawberry flavoring. Definitely expected it to be made with the delicious strawberries from the field! Other than that, no complaints! The employees were wonderful and I love that they do U-pick sales often to prevent berries being wasted!”
