Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in South Dakota.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We wanted to get some different verity of pumpkins this year and thought we would stop by and see what they had to offer, and it is so adorable! So many unique pumpkins along with the classic orange ones, amazing prices, and my daughter's favorite, the goats and the donkey! Highly recommend going here, we will definitely be back next year! Thank you so much!”
“The 3 year old gives it 5 stars for pumpkins and another 10 for chickens who said hello to us!”
