In August, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Minnesota, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Minnesota.

  • Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“A must do! When we wanted to go berry picking, I was happy to find this farm just a few minutes away. Even if you aren’t close, it’s worth a drive. The farm is large, well maintained, has lots of beautiful ripe fruit, and run by great people. I was interested to learn that there are different varieties of blueberries, and you can really tell the difference in taste. Tell them what you’re making with them and they’ll help you pick the right bushes for what type will work best. Sizes vary from itty bitty to huge. So far I’ve made a syrup, butter, muffins, and pie and all turned out delicious. So much better than store bought. Highly recommend, and I’ll be back for more this season!”

“This farm is amazing! They grow just about anything (we came for raspberries and cherries) and they grow it well! And if that wasn’t enough, the family who runs it could NOT be nicer! Great experience, definitely coming back!”

“The berries were perfectly ripe, delicious, and there was a surplus of blueberries. It was great, you could grab a huge bundle of them with a single hand.”

“Our 2nd time here and it was so fun! The blueberries were delicious and fun to pick. We went home and I made 3 pies! Thank you for a fun day!!”

“Awesome little berry patch. Wasn't busy at all and plentiful berries for the kids and adults! Will definitely come back!”

“Awww the best blueberries, very sweet. Wish season didn't end early due to high heat”

“Straight forward and friendly. Nice guy says hello, tells you where to park. Walk up to the tent to get your tray, walk out to the teens who tell you where to start picking. When you're done, you get weighed and pay (cash, check or venmo) and leave. No frills, no upsells, no bakery items. Just berries.”

“We went on opening weekend hoping to pick an entire pail, but we only came out with half a pail because the blueberries weren't ripe enough. It was also pretty difficult to pick amid all the weeds and bushes growing in the berry patch.”
