“Visited for the first time recently and can’t wait to come back! AMAZING ice cream - seriously the creamiest and smoothest ice cream ever - and delicious flavours too (I got Cherry Cheesecake and S’mores). Their baked goods are also phenomenal! Peach pie - fantastic! The filling is delicious. I also tried a peach bun (pictured) and roast turkey sandwich - both were also so good! Fresh peaches were also so so good. Highly recommend visiting! Their shop has everything - store made granola, grab and go meals, frozen foods, condiments (I definitely eyed a store made fudge sauce and lemon curd).”

“We came from London to visit the wineries, and came across this quaint little market. The staff were so sweet and welcoming. The man behind the counter was very helpful as we had many questions about their delicious goodies. The ice cream was the highlight. They make their own ice cream in store and it was divine from the first to last bite! I was supposed to share with my husband but ended up getting my own because it was so good! The owner was making a fresh batch in the back and offered us a sample right from the batch. Friendly staff, excellent quality products, we will be returning!”

“The Grove Fruit Market is an absolute gem in Niagara-on-the-Lake! The quality of the fresh produce is outstanding, and you can really tell they take pride in offering local fruits and vegetables. The market is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with a great selection of seasonal products, baked goods, and specialty items. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help. Highly recommend supporting this fantastic local business!”

“Dropped in to see what the latest offerings are. This is the home of both Hometown Ice Cream and In the Smoke Cookery. Several flavours of ice cream on hand, lots of baked goods and fresh and frozen meat, especially sausages. They looked awesome!! Took home some freshly baked pecan butter tarts, cookies and squares. Delicious!”

“Their Ice creams are so good! Freshly made in-house. We tried the birthday cake and praline. They were AMAZING. they also let us try a new one, dulce de lèche and that was delicious. Would definitely come back. Oh, and lots of fresh produce and baked goods and local products. Even better!”

“We stopped in as the kids wanted ice cream. Walked in and was such a cute spot! The ice cream was one of the best we have ever had and we ended up getting some baked goods and they did not disappoint. Amazing food ! Would definitely come again”

“Date of visit: Saturday, March 15, 2025 a lovely country market & bakery in Niagara-on-the-lake. They offer a variety of items – fresh produce, local preserves, pantry items, frozen meats and meals, and amazing baked goods. They offer a variety of items including cookies, date squares, nanaimo bars, brownies, pies and of course, butter tarts for our Roguetrippers Butter Tart Quest. the cinnamon buns are also amazing. We enjoyed the tarts and cookies, scones, and so much more. This is a great spot to visit any time of year – but summer when the produce is fresh and plentiful.”

“I went specifically for the butter tart shake. It may not look like much and it was 12$ BUT if you love buttertarts and shakes...you might want to try this. They put actual butter tart in it. You use a spoon. It's a wonderful sugary rich treat. Now I need a younger stomach. I could only eat half. My 18 yr old was more than happy to finish it. The women working were very very nice. Made my family feel quite welcome.”
