Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Ohio.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This is our apple-picking place of choice. Our kids love all the activities (bouncing, the grain bin, and the zip line are favorites for our 3.5 and almost-2 year old). The staff members are so friendly with the kids. The orchard and activities are easy to navigate. Apples feel a tad pricy for the bag, but not extremely so. Makes for a really fun few hours of family time.”

“We have been going for 8 years (except Covid) and the kids still love it. Zip line, bounce space (like trampolines on steroids), tractor carts, corn "sandbox" (digging in the corn with play trucks and such), tire swings, tube slides and the "cow" ride around the farm. I highly recommend. And we get our pumpkins/ gourds. You can pick apples (or buy like we do).”

“We went as a family to pick apples. We ended up buying wrist bands and playing in their activities too. So much fun and do many varieties of apples. This will be an annual event for us. The restaurant has a tasty smoked pork sandwich on their menu.”

“So much family fun!! The apple trees are intentionally kept small & short for picking. By they time we went, they were very picked over & tons had ended up on the ground. Next year we will go earlier in the season.”

“One of the few orchards that doesn't charge separately for each activity for the children. It was 14.00 per wrist band, which got them access to everything including a wagon ride. I also liked their selection of crafts near the Cafe that were for sale. They were all country/farmhouse decor and super cute.”

“Over priced and not well organized. There really isn't much to do here for young one for it it costs. They can jump, which my daughter loved, ride pedal cars, do a really small zip line, and take a tractor ride...for $12 each. The lines weren't organized or clearly marked. Apple picking and pumpkins cost extra. I got 4 medium pumpkins and 3 small ones and it was $31. The donut was delicious. Will find another place next year.”

“Not disabled friendly! Including autism! Beware. We went as a playdate for our kiddos who went to the same autism center, We literally walked to go into the apple orchard and the lady (although nice) made a comment pretty much saying we need to let them be kids (mind you 2 of them are known to elope) and we explained they were autistic and her response was "I know, I could tell". On top of that as they responded below one of the biggest issues was that the little sister of one of the kids has a few medical disabilities and we specifically try to choose places that accommodate her. Unfortunately the only thing they would let her do was the corn pit. At first she was able to do the jump pad thing but come the second time they wouldn't let her mom in like they did the first time around. They keep trying to say per there response was the mom wasn't allowed to jump but as we explained to them the mom wasn't jumping or even going to touch the bounce things she was just there incase she fell because one of her conditions are she can't feel pain or has an extremely high pain tolerance. Also stated by there response "as a family with disabilities" yet there was nothing there for disabled kids which whatever but Maybe advertise that your not disabled friendly and we simply wouldn't have come and wasted our money. Apples were extremely small because of a drought which i understand they cant control but maybe decrease your insane prices or adjust them accordingly, and i get your paying for the experience but according to their website you have to by apples per so many people so we were forced to get a bag of overpriced apples that are 5times the market value and really cant be used for anything because there is hardly any "meat" on them. Another issue we ran into was the bathrooms had 1 stall and 1 urinal, not the issue. The issue was two of us were by the door asking people to hold on while two if the kiddos (boys) were in there and we didn't want a grown man whipping his thing out in front of 2 little kids, but a man pushed us to the side and like the pervert he is went in there anyways and one of the boys came out upset that he peed in the urinal and saw his you know what, not the businesses problem but all the more gross. The boys were old enough to go to the bathroom by themselves but borderline to old to be going into the girls bathroom with their mom. That being said the autistic kids had an okay time other then some issues that the buisness couldn't control.”
