Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Tennessee.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Since our family received the devastating news of our son's cancer diagnosis, we’ve been overwhelmed and unsure of how to explain it to our 5-year-old. The Cooper Trooper Foundation's Courage Kit has been a beacon of hope during this challenging time. The kit, thoughtfully designed for siblings, provides comfort items and age-appropriate resources that have helped our 5 year old understand and cope with his brother's illness. It acknowledges his feelings and makes him feel seen and important during this period when much attention is focused elsewhere. We're profoundly grateful to the Cooper Trooper Foundation for recognizing the emotional needs of siblings and offering such invaluable support. Their mission to champion the fight against childhood cancer through sibling support and research funding is truly commendable. Thank you for making a difference in our family's journey.”

“This place was very easy to get to and get out of. I really was impressed with the amount of BEAUTIFUL pumpkins and gourds they had! The prices are very good and it is Great that all the profits go to kids with cancer! If you have a 1-3 year old, this is the perfect place to go. They have wagons, it's a small venue and it doesn't take much to impress them, plus you're helping other children. I will go there again next year.”

“I've noticed this group every year, but never got around to checking it out. Finally did, and it was lovely! Fair prices, wide selection (including ornamentals!), and the proceeds go to supporting families of and children with cancer, as well as an "Endowed Fund at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. They are a registered 501(c)3. Kroger already gets enough of your money. Buy your pumpkins here. :)”

“So amazing! Libby received her box the day her baby brother got to come home from his first round of treatment and 3 weeks in the hospital. She was super exited to show me each individual thing in the box that was just for her! The koala with all emotion tags is THE BEST!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

“Our family buys our pumpkins here every year. Proud to support them and the work they do for families dealing with childhood cancer. The staff is friendly, and they’ve got a great selection. Looking forward to next year.”

“Wonderful experience! Family run patch. Great selection of carving and specialty pumpkins. Best of all, the money goes to pediatric cancer research and kits for well siblings. Amazing place and cause. We go every year!”

“Wonderful place to buy all your fall pumpkins. Very helpful and professional and supports such a great cause. Could not be more pleased with the experience!!! Look forward to making this a yearly tradition.”

“Love this place! We come every year. Great pumpkins and better mission.”
