Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Mexico.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Man look, after I got over my fit after realizing I was the mule N cart and also realizing I was going to be driving for a few hours as they load vs resting for the trip. It grew on me that this is real dope. It's slow but they a a SYSTEM out here boyyy. Can't be mad at hard working people frfr. Nothing but respect. You can shower, eat, and enjoy the sunset depending on what time you arrive and if you like nice country like scenery. I mean that's why most is truckers right? Don't be in a rush and be kind. Real nice family like folks. I'd do it again next year but damned if I'd do it again this season lol fr. Once a year type load.”

“I've picked up a load from here, it's a different kind of experience, you'll more than likely load off directly from the field takes about 2 hours and a little at the docks , has overnight parking, will serve you food on the house. Has a scale you'll weigh in that's how you check in and you'll weigh out that's how you'll get your paperwork. Hard working people and pleasant people.”

“It's a long loading process, but you will be back for sure... I have and will be coming back every year for the season... Great people, hard working, well paid loads, office people are nice and polite.. Scales on site, they will feed you nice hot meals. Good cellphone reception, once you check in, your truck is numbered... Thank you..”

“It's a local farm shipping pumpkins seasonally. You can get loads directly with no broker intermediary. Relatively fast loading process, considering they load manually. Yes, they have shower for truckers (bring your own towel), free breakfast, lunch and dinner. Scales are on the property as well.”

“Nice people but load process is a mess. Check in at 0900 and was loaded by 1600. You have to drive thru the field and they will load you there, then back to warehouse where they will put some pallets in the back of your trailer, then to the scale and I was 83500 so back to take some pumpkins off then back to scale and I was 79500. Remember to fuel before you get there”
