Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in New Jersey.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“HAMMONTON: The bucolic Red Barn Farm is a family friendly attraction right on Route 206 featuring so many fun fall activities and leashed and friendly dogs are allowed! There is different admission pricing and if you buy the all access ticket, you get to do it all, with your pup: Hayride to Pumpkin Patch (includes a pumpkin to take home) Walk to Sunflower Patch (pick one to take home) 2 trails in a corn maze, including a Luke Bryan themed path Fairgrounds Jump Pad (only for kids) We attended their Oktoberfest event the first weekend in October and were treated to bratwurst and pretzels from The Fritz Grill, beer from Chimney Rustic Ales, tastings of hard liquor from Blue Rascal Distillery, watched a stein holding contest, and jammed to traditional German music. It was all so much fun and we also met so many friendly people having a great time. Check out their social media for the schedule. They also have a cafe and pie shop in the main building that is open everyday.”

“A New Jersey gem in the Pinelands! A working farm on many acres w/a red barn market, unique cafe, pie shop and so much more. ♥️ The homemade pies are scrumptious: fruit, blueberry ricotta & pumpkin ricotta pie! A tradition on our thanksgiving table for many years. Their homemade food and treats consistently delectable. They’ve created an outdoor farm playground that is stupendous. The sunflowers, fall fest, corn maze, farm yard activities & treats, huge trampoline, walk bridge over a beautiful pond, hayride. Amazing, wholesome fresh air fun! Christmas lights hayride?¿ Evelyn, Fred kudos and thank you for working it so hard for so long! Bravo🙏🏻♥️”

“From free roaming chickens that follow you around, to tons of activities for the smaller kids and to the giant corn maze and flowers of all kinds, this kid friendly farm has it all. A great place to bring your family and have a wonderful time outside while enjoying great weather along with a beautiful pond in the background. Although pricey, the pies that are made here look not only delicious but also explode with flavor when they enter your mouth. They are a must try when visiting even though someone could easily eat the whole pie by themselves.”

“Absolutely wonderful farm! Great experience, our family’s first time here. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious! We had the smash burger and ribeye burger. The mango beer was amazing! So much for the kids to do, including a bounce pad, duck races, lasso cows, corn maze, and they loved the chickens. We took a nice hayride to the pumpkin patch and sunflower field. We will be back!!”

“One one of my ultimate favorites in the area for breakfast. If you need to bring a Sweet to a function, this is the place to go! Everything is homemade & the ingredients are a step above most. It’s special qualities of care & devotion that makes the food taste better! The pies, are works of art & taste incredible! Definitely a place worth stopping by!”

“Great experience!!! It was fun to have the whole family at this farm and try their refreshing lemonade, soft doughnuts, and delicious grilled chicken. I loved it and it was pet friendly which was the best part. They had very kind staff and they were very informative about everything.”

“I will support this business and family for countless years to come. Fred and staff went above and beyond with planning my son’s recent engagement. The property is absolutely beautiful and the pies are the best you’ll ever have!”

“Wow! What an awesome time bringing the kids all the way from Philly! They had an absolute blast. And for the adults—don’t miss out on the ribeye burger. It’s a game-changer!”
