Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Florida.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I can say so many good things about the strawberry farm, but I'll try to keep it at a minimum. The owners/staff are absolutely amazing. I've been several times, and every time I go, they've upgraded something about the farm. The new addition of the 3rd field and the trail ride to the farm is an awesome idea. Also, the fresh, made strawberry ice cream is an absolute wonder. My kids said it's better than Blue Bell. My son even made some tasty strawberry preserves with some of our berries. This a must visit spot. We'll definitely try to visit at least once every year!!”

“This is our second year enjoying strawberry picking from this farm. It’s a drive but it’s well maintained and worth it. Staff is always very friendly, polite and understanding that toddlers might sample in the field 😂 I only hope they have non-portapotty facilities in the future. They weren’t the worst porta potty I’ve ever used but it’s so hard to use those with little kids😷”

“Beautiful fields, outgoing workers and just the concept of picking your own strawberries and enjoying them later is such a self-fulfilling concept one must experience! They weigh everything you pick and you pay based on that!”

“Fantastic strawberries. My daughter loved picking them. Fantastic prices too. Great experience. You can purchase a snow cone and drinks as well. We will definitely be going back :)”

“We had so much fun! This is our 2nd year and we plan to make it a tradition! This farm is the best I've found. No chemicals, you can eat as is! They are so sweet and juicy”

“Such a wonderful experience! The berries were perfect and The environment so fun!”

“We were really looking forward to the strawberry ice cream they advertise, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any available when we visited—despite it being close to lunchtime. It was a bit tough watching so many kids walk away disappointed after hearing the same news. Also, instead of getting to pick in the main fields, we were directed to other areas chosen by the staff. It would’ve been nicer to have a bit more freedom with that part of the experience. That said, it’s a lovely family farm with a lot of charm. The atmosphere is great, and the staff were kind—just hoping for better planning next time!”

“Attended the homeschool event. Signup said 2lbs of strawberries and a cup of icecream per student. Once we arrived we received a pint container. I inquired why it was just one as the post said 2lbs for our $10 homeschool fee. I had no service to show them the post or email confirming the 2lbs. The lady argued and then asked for help not answering my question. They traded out spots. The other lady didn’t understand my question at all. I weighed our container once we got home and it was less than 1lb. Good strawberries but mislead by the Facebook post.”
