Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Minnesota.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Great pumpkin patch for the whole family!! Lots to do for everyone of all ages and pumpkins very reasonably priced. Pick from the patch yourself or from the pre-picked ones, go on a hay ride and go through an amazing corn maze.”

“Very fun! Very friendly and lot of different activities to do! There was also food and ice cream options. The people were also very nice!”

“The maze is always huge and fun to navigate. Lots of activities and animals.”

“This was fun. We're not usually here in the fall, but had heard that Thea's was the place to go. The corn 🌽 maze was the biggest draw, and while I can't argue that it's pretty outstanding, I would prefer a different way to track progress (stamps? Letters) it was a great way to get my walk in. A lot of the other activities were geared for kids younger than my own (middle, high, and 1st year college) but definitely worth going once.”

“Fantastic place! It was very fun for our group of adults and we enjoyed our time in the corn maze. The quiz questions to help get you through the maze weren't all properly placed, which led you astray, but we still really enjoyed it! They also had a very wide variety of pumpkins and plenty of things for kiddos to do.”

“I have been bringing my kids here for the past few years and they have always loved it. This year the owner decided to put incredibly creepy bigger-than-life-size Halloween figures/statues all over the yard. There wasn’t a place I could put my kids that they weren’t faced with a terrifying figure. I’m talking witches, zombies, scary pumpkin head man, voodoo dolls, creepy skeletons, giant aliens, etc. I am really disappointed about this and will no longer bring my kids here every year. For being such a kid friendly environment I’m surprised it took such a creepy turn this year. Might be fun for older kids who aren’t absolutely terrified by that stuff, but it is definitely not small child friendly anymore.”
