Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Maine.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I went by myself this week and felt like I was in the Garden of Eden. I picked a quart of delicious blueberries and am eating them for breakfast right now! I will definitely be back next week before the season is over. Blueberries are still plentiful but don’t miss your opportunity.”

“Used this farm for the Kawanhee Inn. Not only are the blueberries amazing, and the herbs out of this world, but Stephanie is one of the most knowledgeable and passionate people I've met. My highest recommendation.”

“What a beautiful farm and terrifically friendly owner. Picked about 11 pounds today and will be returning weekly. Amazing blueberries and they don't spray. Don't miss out. Thanks Matt for the wonderful greeting!”

“This place has more than pick your own blueberries in August. In fall, pick apples. They sell wonderful vegetables too. Great place to take the kiddos to learn as they're willing to teach. Amazing views!”

“We had a lovely time bringing our granddaughter blueberry picking. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and had even made the most delicious blueberry tarts for us to try! Can't wait to go again!”

“Fantastic blueberry picking on labor day weekend! We were able to pick several pounds in 30 minutes! Very friendly staff with other farmstand goodie available. We will be back!”
