Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Minnesota.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This place is so cute! They have a ton of trees with great apples on them. The corn maze is very fun but not too easy so you can spend some good time in there. The orchard is dog friendly, and my pup had a ton of fun. Plus, he came home with a new pillow/best friend. We picked a peck of honeycrisp, and probably got about 20lbs (estimated), so even though it can feel like you're spending a lot on apples, it works out to cheaper (or same) than the grocery store price. Plus, you get the experience of apple picking! They have a lovely little store out of the garage that has pies, pumpkins, honey, apple butter, some locally made soaps, and lots of other cute local things :) There was a steady flow of people, but it didn't feel crowded at all. Definitely worth the experience and the trip to come out here.”

“Love love love this orchard! It was a serendipitous visit for us and has turned out to be one of our favorite orchard/ farm visits. The orchard is well organized with a welcoming feel. Not crowded on weekend later afternoon hours. The owners were particularly nice and patiently explained the varieties of apples to us. The corn maze at the end of the orchard was a sweet surprise and fun avenue for both kids and adults. Highly recommend a drive to this lovely orchard before the sunset when the fall colors are around.”

“This is a beautiful orchard, the prices for apple picking are very reasonable. The orchard is big enough to get a good walk in through the apple trees and see beautiful fall colors surrounding the place. We had a lot of fun in the corn maze, it is more difficult then it looked and gave my husband and I lots of laughs as we wound through. If you are looking for some fun photo spots this is a great option!”

“Such a beautiful place to enjoy a few hours of fresh air, picking apples, navigating a corn maze and seeing how an orchard works. Friendly people greeted us and helped direct us as to how to pick the apples and we loved supporting a family owned Minnesota business! Absolutely worth the drive to visit this great little orchard in the rolling hills south of the twin cities!”

“Absolutely love this place! Love the family atmosphere, the corn maze, the treats for sale, and of course the apples! It’s nice that they offer samples of the apples to help you choose and you can pick your own which is surprisingly hard to find but you can do it here for most varieties.”

“Cute orchard! And a perfect distance from the cities. Far enough to feel like an adventure but not too far to make you feel car tired. A good selection of apples. Covid restrictions are in place but you don't have to wear your mask in the fields. Free corn maze.”

“Love this orchard! It is family owned and the apples every year are fantastic! Visiting here is one of my favorite parts about fall! They have a wide variety of delicious apples that are pre picked or you can pick your own.”

“Thus is a cute little Orchard. It has apples for picking. They give samples. They sell pie, jellies, Apple butter, pumpkins, pies, cider and more. The prices are reasonable. The cider slushies are great!”
